Biography
Keynote speaker, communicator and founder of The NeverRest Project, an environmental engineering technology company working to implement a system of sustainable actions and a self-sufficient circular economy through regenerative tourism, focused on environmental protection and management, with the goal of achieving a balance between tourism and ecosystems.
Kauffmann has devoted much of his career to communication, winning awards and recognition for his work in environmental communication, such as the Impact Award 2019 (Barcelona) or the Act.Responsible award, affiliated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications, and Global Impact for the 'Plastic Fish' campaign to raise awareness about ocean pollution. In 2023, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Kauffmann presented internationally the first proposal for a sustainable Everest Base Camp.
In 2025, The NeverRest Project signed an agreement with the National Parks Foundation of Costa Rica to implement a technology designed to measure the impact generated by tourism and turn that information into actions and resources for conservation and regeneration projects in natural spaces.
